In Venezuela, many animals live in extreme vulnerability.
While a large part of the population struggles to cover basic human needs, animals are often abandoned, left without protection, medical care, or control.
There is little culture of animal welfare, and many animals suffer neglect or abuse simply because there are not enough resources to help them. Yet they are also part of society — and our responsibility.
From countries with greater resources, support is gathered to assist the people who are actively working on the ground: rescuing animals, providing food, medical attention, veterinary care, and carrying out sterilisation campaigns.
This contribution is a small gesture, but it helps sustain those efforts.
